On September 25, 2026, from 12 to 1 pm, the digital Alumni Lunch on the topic of entrepreneurship took place – an event organized by the Startup Port’s Founding Service in cooperation with the alumni offices of several Hamburg universities, including TU Hamburg. Former students had the opportunity to connect virtually and engage in-depth discussions about their business ideas and start-up plans. Whether startups, freelance projects, or social initiatives – the Alumni Lunch offered valuable insights on how to develop creative ideas into viable business models. Participants used the platform to ask questions, gain inspiration, and make contacts that facilitate their path to self-employment. The interactive format was especially well received, as it enabled direct exchange with experts from the Founding Service and among participants themselves. We thank all engaged alumni for their participation and the organizers for the successful event. The digital Alumni Lunch once again demonstrated the significance of exchange within the alumni community for personal growth and professional opportunities.
