Anna-Lena Glesinski and Frauke Kasting from the Career Center of TU Hamburg organized an Alumni & Career Talk on the topic “Starting Your Career in Times of AI – Insights from EIM Alumni” as part of the EIM Day hosted by the Dean’s Office for Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, and Mathematics. The event targeted students, alumni, and staff, focusing on the career paths of graduates from the EIM study programs. In a time when artificial intelligence is reshaping the job market, personal insights from individuals who have successfully navigated their early professional years proved particularly valuable. Our four alumni

• Sebastian Lindner, Research Engineer at Bosch Research

• Reyhaneh Rajabigamchi, Project Manager – Small Signal MOSFETs at Nexperia

• Finja Schnoor, Trainee in Financial Controlling at DZ HYP

• Johannes Heise, Development Engineer assigned to Siemens Energy through Hays

shared their unique professional journeys, challenges, and opportunities they encountered when starting their careers in areas such as data science, computer engineering, and related fields. Their stories encouraged participants to reflect on what matters most in their own career planning. The event provided inspiring discussions, practical advice, and a valuable opportunity to connect with alumni and like-minded peers, preparing attendees for their professional futures in the era of AI.
