The HafenCity Run 2026 took place on 30 May, and TU Hamburg was once again represented by a large running team full of sporting enthusiasm! Every year, the HafenCity Run combines sport, team spirit and charity into a single event. Northern Germany’s largest corporate and charity run took participants through the modern waterfront districts of Hamburg’s HafenCity. Participants had the opportunity to run the route without any pressure to perform or time recording. Let’s lace up our running shoes and set off on a tour of discovery through HafenCity.
Included in the entry fee (€25 for alumni and guests, and €15 for students) was a donation of €5 per person and €10 per team to the charity “Hamburger Abendblatt hilft e.V.” and the initiative “Kinder helfen Kindern”. The Alumni Association and the "Stiftung zur Förderung der TU Hamburg" (the Foundation for the Promotion of TU Hamburg) support the run.
