Innovative food tech made in Hamburg: Alumni visit to goodBytz

How TU alumni are using robotics to create fresh meals of tomorrow.

Vera Lindenlaub (Head of Relationship Management) visited TUHH alumnus Dr. Hendrik Susemihl at goodBytz and gained fascinating insights into an innovative Hamburg-based food-tech company.

goodBytz develops autonomous robotic kitchen systems for professional restaurants, institutional catering, and other applications. By combining robotics, artificial intelligence, and software, the company creates solutions that can prepare fresh meals efficiently, reliably, and at scale. Among other things, the goal is to address the shortage of skilled workers in the industry while making high-quality food more accessible.

The personal exchange focused not only on entrepreneurship and technological innovations, but also on studying at TU Hamburg, a passion for robotics and healthy eating, as well as the desire to inspire future generations with these topics.

Encounters like these impressively demonstrate the diverse paths our alumni are taking and how research, technology, and entrepreneurial courage give rise to forward-looking companies.

Herzlichen Dank für die inspirierenden Einblicke, den offenen Austausch und natürlich die kulinarische Kostprobe: Sehr lecker!!
