Yesterday, we had the honour of being part of the ECIU Rally at TUHH.

Our CampusLab Circular Economy welcomed 18 students from Elfenwiese School for a day full of hands-on experiments and curious questions like “How does a sponge work?”, “How can you make sand flow?” and “What gives bones their stability?”

Together with our colleagues from NachwuchsCampus and the Institute of Bioprocess and Biosystems Engineering, we had a fantastic day exploring science in a very practical (and fun!) way. Huge thanks to Gesine Liese, Barbara Klippel, Neele Meyer-Heydecke, Ushe Malcolm Mutamba, Sabine Beckedorf, Lara Gibowsky and Baldur Schroeter for making this possible.

The students clearly had a great time and hopefully went home with lots of exciting impressions and new curiosity. We wrapped up the day in a relaxed atmosphere at the Institute of Solids Process Engineering and Particle Technology, with their popcorn machine in action, of course.
