In the micro surgery stereoskopische operating microscopes will provide so far usually only with a camera, in order to document and (e.g. for students) visualize the interferences. A goal of the project is the three-dimensional measurement of the operation field from the photographs of two cameras, which are connected with the operating microscope.

The stylus mouse is a people computer interface, which contains an image processing system. It combines a normal pin to the letter, a classical mouse and a scanner for documents. We would like the traditional systems of the man-machine interface, i.e. the keyboard and the mouse, improve, by summarizing it in a pin-similar unit. It can thereby on pre-working to the image processing, which movement estimation, which stereoscopy, and the screen sequence analysis are fallen back. The handwriting recognition is possible on the basis the output signal with already software available at the market. The stylus mouse is to contain a chip, which is attached wirelessly to a CONTROLLER within the host computer of vision. Also paper and ink are not used for the letter, on the contrary a special erasable board can be used, so that the stylus mouse is of advantage also ecological. Will determined the human hand movement from three translation and three rotation parameters, and can into letter (ocr) be translated. The overall view is built up in the enterprise as scanner from many small fields.
