Starting Your Career in Times of AI – Insights from EIM-Alumni was organized as part of the EIMday of the School of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Mathematics. The event took place as a collaboration between the Career Center and EIM, inviting students, alumni, and staff to an Alumni & Career Talk focused on the career paths of graduates from the EIM study programs. In an era where Artificial Intelligence is reshaping the job market, gaining personal insights from those who have successfully navigated their early careers proved invaluable. Our alumni shared their unique professional journeys, challenges, and opportunities encountered while starting their careers in fields such as data science, computer engineering, and related areas. Through their stories, attendees were encouraged to reflect on what matters most to them in their own career planning. The event featured inspiring conversations, practical advice, and provided a valuable opportunity to connect with alumni and peers while preparing for a professional future in times of AI.
