Highly Cited Researchers

Prof. Dr. Christian M. Ringle (Hamburg University of Technology) is named in the Economics & Business category. The Clarivate Analytics’ Highly Cited Researcher List includes the top 1% of researchers per field by Web of Science citations.

This category includes only 40 Highly Cited Researchers worldwide and only two Economics & Business researchers from German universities (i.e., LMU Munich and Hamburg University of Technology).

Managerial Impact Award

The Managerial Impact Award is a prestigious international honor that recognizes outstanding researchers whose work has had a significant impact on management practice.

At the 2025 International Marketing Trends Conference (IMTC) in Venice, the award was presented to Prof. Dr. Christian M. Ringle (Hamburg University of Technology) and Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Marko Sarstedt (LMU Munich) in recognition of their influential research and its contributions to both academia and business practice.

Prof. Dr. Christian M. Ringle has been appointed to the Open Innovation Advisory Board of the University of California, Berkeley.

The board serves as a think tank where experts come together to exchange ideas, develop frameworks, and create practical solutions that can transform industries and drive global innovation.
