Research in Europe – An information event organised by KoWi

The Kooperationsstelle EU der Wissenschaftsorganisationen (KoWi) offers one-day information events at universities in order to attract more young researchers for an international career in research. These events, organised in cooperation with universities and non-university research institutions in various regions of Germany, provide a compact overview of current research funding opportunities at both national and European level. The various research and funding organisations present their programmes and institutions directly on site and give tips on how to successfully submit proposals and applications. The organisations are also available throughout the day to answer questions and thus meet the high demand for information on individual career planning in research.

The information events, which are held in English, are aimed at graduates, doctoral students and postdoctoral researchers. Institutions and programmes that have been presented so far are, e.g., European Research Council, German Research Foundation, Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, Stifterverband, and Helmholtz Association.

The next event will take place on 25 October 2018 at Ruhr-Universität Bochum. If you are interested, please register in advance via the link.
