Finite Element Method (discretisation, solver) Elasto mechanics (tension, bending, buckling, crack, contact) Inelastic material behaviour (viscoelasticity, plasticity, visco-plasticity) Dynamic problems (vibrations, time and velocity dependent material behaviour, DMA of polymers) Plasto mechanics (small and finite deformations, crack extension in thin walled structures: J-Integral, cohesive zone elements, indentation) Thermo mechanics (temperature dependent materials behaviour, decoupled and coupled simulation, forming) Neural Networks (parameter identification, modelling of complex relationships)
