2nd CampusLab Partner Meeting 2026

At our 2nd CampusLab partner meeting 2026, we continued our exchange between the partners on the strategic development and future activities.

A key focus of the meeting was the further use of the available budget and the targeted expansion of our laboratory infrastructure. Following our previous investments, the acquisition of a 3D printer has now been planned, and plans for Raman spectroscopy have been specified. Together with our partners, we also discussed the organization of future Building Blocks for a variety of activities and outreach formats. These will support workshops, presentations, school visits, university formats, stakeholder events, and further collaborative actions within the CampusLab network.

Another creative input was the development of an LCA game by the institute of Resilient and Sustainable Operations and Supply Chain Management (OSCM). This interactive format will help make life cycle assessment more accessible and engaging, especially for students, pupils, and participants without prior expert knowledge.

In addition, we explored how our scientific publications and research results can be communicated in a more understandable and accessible way for a broader audience. Strengthening science communication will be an important step in making our work visible, relevant, and useful beyond the scientific community.

We are especially pleased that between February and June, 29 activities took place in the lab, including workshops, presentations, school class visits, university visits, exchanges with political representatives, and other outreach formats.

We would like to thank all partners for their continued commitment, ideas, and active contributions and look forward to the next steps!
