Counselling & Coaching

Are you looking for support with career orientation, job search, designing your application documents or career planning? We will be happy to advise you!
Please make an appointment with us for one-on-one counseling by emailing career.service(at)tuhh(dot)de with the following information:

  • Your name
  • e-mail address
  • Telephone number where we can reach you at short notice
  • your field of study
  • your semester or year of graduation
  • a brief description of your consultation request

At the moment, we are happy to provide you with advice online or by telephone.

If you have any questions concerning your studies, we cooperate with the Student Counseling Center.

Advice on application documents

Preparing application documents requires intensive study of yourself, specific job profiles and possible fields of work.

The careful compilation and structured presentation of your own skills and knowledge, previous training stations and practical experience is necessary for your self-presentation in all application forms - whether as an e-mail application, via an online form or also in professional social networks such as LinkedIn or XING.

We are happy to support you in designing your documents through individual and group consulting!

To prepare for these appointments, be sure to use our info on designing your application documents and on job search.

Application Check

- an one-on-one interview lasting approx. 45 minutes

- review of your current application documents (CV, cover letter)

- a detailed, individual feedback

In our group coaching sessions, you will also benefit from the diversity of perspectives.

You can find the individual counseling appointments and group coaching sessions for the application document check in our semester program with the title "ApplicationCheck" (via the "Registration" button below). If the desired appointment is already booked, please register on the waiting list. You will then be informed immediately if a place becomes available.

For very urgent matters: If there are no places available and you need support quickly, you are also welcome to contact the Career Center by e-mail (career.service(at)tuhh(dot)de) to ask for a one-on-one counselling appointment.
