One after the other, all students briefly comment orally on questions by the lecturer. Questions can be, for example: What did I particularly like? What did not go well? The answer should be only one or two sentences, in the case that students speak longer the lecturer has to intervene immediately. At the beginning of a course, a "flashlight" is also suitable for activation or expectation management (for example: What do I expect today?). At the end, it can be used to get quick feedback from everyone. No materials are needed to use the method. It should be noted that previous answers can influence the statements of the following students. A flashlight can also be implemented in a chat (zoom or mattermost).
