Become a member of the TU & YOU family

As a supporting TU & YOU member, take advantage of additional TU Hamburg services such as the continued use of your e-mail address or the library. With your membership fees you support the TU Hamburg and its students at the same time.

Register online in our alumni portal and additionally select the association membership there.

Benefit from alumni association membership

Make use, as a supporting member of TU & YOU, of additional service offerings. With your membership dues you are also supporting the TUHH and its students.

As a member of the Verein der Alumni und Förderer you benefit from the following facilities:

  • TUHH-E-Mail-Account
    You can continue to use your TUHH e-mail account after completing your studies.
  • Magazine
    We will mail you your copy of the university magazine „Spektrum“ and keep you up to date.
  • University Library
    The annual fee for using the University Library is waived.
  • University Sport
    Members of the association book all courses on offer at www.hochschulsport-hamburg.de and pay the reduced rates for TUHH staff.
  • TU & YOU Lounge
    If you are a member of the alumni association and are no longer at the TUHH, you can use the new TU & YOU Lounge free of charge. But you will first need to register at reservierung.lounge@tuhh.de.
  • Homecoming
    A very special celebration: our big TU Hamburg & NIT Homecoming took place in September 2022. This event takes place every two years. As a member, you receive a 20% discount on the  admission ticket.
  • MBA at Technology Management
    As a member, you will receive a 15% discount on the MBA in Technology Management program at the Northern Institute of Technology Management (NIT) and further develop your management skills. You can find out more about the study program here. If you would like to take advantage of the discount, please send an e-mail to tuandyou@tuhh.de with the subject "NIT discount".

 

Funding by the Alumni Association

The Association of Alumni and Supporters of the TU Hamburg uses its membership fees to support various projects and events at the TU Hamburg, student initiatives or alumni projects such as:

  • The TU Hamburg Summer Party
  • The alumni party twice a year in the Friedrich-Ebert Halle
  • Subsidizing the orientation trips of all student bodies
  • The spring ball of the shipbuilders
  • RowING
  • SingING
  • Alumni meetings in the institutes
