Open Water Propeller
The prediction of open water propeller data is a standard-task in marine hydrodynamics. Using panMARE results can be obtained quickly. The fast and reliable prediction of the propeller performance makes panMARE particularly suitable for the design process. A short report inheriting an open water diagram with thrust and torque coefficients and the propeller efficiency can be an output of the program. Since the values are obtainable in text-files, a simple comparison between different propellers and a propeller optimization is possible.

As shown, a hub geometry can be included in the calculation to improve the pressure distribution on the inner blade-radii.
