Abstract: The Wide Sense Stationary assumptions which are used quite a lot in system level evaluation of network performance are introducing too optimistic behaviour of the channel for single users when you look closely at the topic of mobility problems (handover problems) and Mobility Robustness Optimization. In our work on SON and MRO we introduced correlated mobility, so constrained and restricted movement of users to certain locations of the system layout to get more realistic user performance. In this talk we share the modeling approach and some insight into the optimization problems we try to solve here.
