Christoph Petersen M. Sc.
After finishing my 3-years apprenticeship as IT systems integration specialist (Fachinformatiker Systemintegration) I started studying Computer Science and Engineering (IIW) at Hamburg University of Technology (TUHH) in 2007. I received my Bachelor Degree for my thesis on the topic “Estimation of the Relative Position in Wireless Sensor Networks using Received Signal Strength” in 2010. Choosing “Communication Networks” and “Digital Systems” as specializations in my master studies lead me to the topic of my master thesis “Evaluation of Wireless Communication Systems for Flight Data Transmission”. The thesis was already part of the Data Recording System (DARSY) research project in collaboration with Airbus. Since receiving my Master Degree in 2012 I am working as a research assistant pursuing my PhD at the Institute of Communication Networks (ComNets) of TUHH. My research topic is “Adaptive Communication for Aeronautical Systems”.
