Offerings for PhD Candidates and Postdocs

The Graduate Academy for Technology and Innovation is your central point of contact at the TUHH. It will advise on all generic matters arising in connection with your doctorate or during your postdoc phase. With workshops and training sessions, information events and networking activities the Graduate Academy will help you to develop and expand your generic competences or so-called transferable skills and to plan the next steps in your career. Along with interdisciplinarity and diversity, issues of reconciling a family and a career or scientific research play a role.

The projected range of subjects includes workshops to teach project management skills, leadership and negotiating competences, presentation techniques, subject-specific English and German, and workshops on strategic career planning and self-marketing in science.
