The workgroup Cell Culture / Tissue Engineering at the Institute of Biomechanics investigates the influence of mechanical loading with respect to cartilage cells and tissue as well as bone cells. The workgroup also provides know-how to the research projects of the research focus “Regeneration, Implants, Medical Technology” (FSP RIM) within the scope of the project “Cell-Service-Center”.
