In the economist ranking 2020 of the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (F.A.Z.), Professor Dr. Christian M. Ringle of the Hamburg University of Technology (TUHH) has achieved the top position in the field of science. This makes him the most influential economist in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

The F.A.Z.-Ranking determines the number of citations in the category science from the past years, fed from the research database Scopus from the specialist publisher Elsevier.
