Dr. Abedin Gagani graduated in Mechanical Engineering from Padua University (Italy) in 2015, with a thesis on carbon fiber composite bonded joins at AIRBUS GmbH (Germany).

In 2015, he joined Ferrari SpA (Italy) as Junior Vehicle Quality Engineer in the Product Development Center at Maranello.

In 2016 he started a PhD in Mechanical Engineering at NTNU (Norway) dealing with environmental degradation of composites, in a project led by DNV GL (Norway).

After obtaining his PhD, he joined the Institute of Polymer and Composites at TUHH (Germany) in 2019, where he currently works on environmental degradation of composites, structural health monitoring, modelling of composites and smart materials.
