Welcome@ TUHH Program: Ongoing information and networking events
Welcome@TUHH Program has the goal to get the TUHH students together and to promote intercultural exchange on campus! The networking events offered within the program help to build a “bridge” for better understanding between various cultures on the campus. The orientation activities like workshops, tutorial sessions and intercultural trainings support the international students during their studies to develop and to gain intercultural, personal and language skills.

| Mon | Apr 22 | 4 - 6 pm | Workshops "Dealing with stress"(in cooperation with Uni Hamburg). In German with English explanations. In this workshop you will use a stress analysis to understand your own stress when studying and in everyday life. Find out more about the meaning of stress, causes of stress, and how to deal with stress during exam periods. The workshop also includes relaxation exercises and exercises to avoid stressful thoughts. | Wed | June 26 | 2.30-6.30 pm | Workshop in Englisch: "Keeping an open mind: communicating effectively in confrontational situations". You will become a facilitator for a respectful and non-violent communication by gaining skills and techniques for creative problem solving, regulating emotions and conflict resolution strategies. In the workshop non-violent communication approaches according to Rosenberg (GFK) and other creative problem-solving methods will be applied. (Further Info) The workshop is open for all TUHH students. |

Erwerbe spezielle Kenntnisse und Techniken für kreative Problemlösungen, zur Emotionsregulation sowie Konfliktlösungstrategien. Im Workshop werden die Ansätze der gewaltfreien Kommunikation (GFK) nach Rosenberg sowie weitere kreative Problemlösungstechniken präsentiert und geübt.
